MSW, LCSW Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Lisa attended Anderson College where she majored in social work and minored in marriage and family relations. Immediately following undergraduate studies, she attended Indiana University and earned a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 1988.
Service to the community has spanned over 25 years of working in the mental health field. Special places of serving have centered on working in the hospital setting, a school setting, as well as in a residential-treatment facility for adolescents. Lisa enjoys helping people overcome personal obstacles that cause difficulties in relationships and other areas of their lives. Some areas of particular interest include anxiety, depression, grief, marital and family issues, and behavior difficulties. She is willing to incorporate Biblical principles within the therapeutic process for those interested in a Christian perspective.
Gratefully married for 28 years includes having two college-aged sons. She also serves an adult leader in the youth group at her church, and she enjoys walking alongside teenagers during that important transitional stage of their lives.
