A message from Mukhabbat
Hello!
I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Therapist and Certified Autism Specialist, specializing in trauma resolution, post-traumatic growth, faith integration, addictions, individual, early childhood, and adult and family counseling. As a Certified Autism Specialist, I focus on trauma counseling with a multicultural approach. In my nine plus years of practice, I have walked alongside vulnerable patients informed by social justice and multicultural awareness. As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) I use EMDR and hypnotherapy as well as other methods of trauma-informed care.
A salient focus in my work is the identification of cumulative and intersecting sources of depression, stress, anxiety and trauma, structural and ecosystemic barriers and supports, in which I leverage community-based interventions to bolster resilience in the patients I serve.
